Samuel Masih’s House Shop

90% of our Christian brothers and sisters in Pakistan are suffering from poverty, the main reasons are lack of provision of equal rights, discriminatory treatment and compelling them to work as sweepers and Brick kilns. They are living under the margin line and hardly live hygienic and healthy life. Many are suffering from various diseases and are losing their jobs because they are Christians.

Here is the story of victim of ill treatment with our Christian Brother Samuel.

Samuel Masih resident of Clerk Abad used to work on a brick kiln. He had to feed 4 family members, a wife and three kids. Six months earlier he had heart attack while working on the brick kiln. The family had to take more loan for his treatment from the brick-kiln owner.

Since, then his wife alone is working at the brick-kiln day and night to feed the family. Alas! She is unable to bear the expenses of her husband’s medication, treatment and their kid’s needs.

In the month of May Samuel Masih put forward more loan’s request against the owner of the brick kiln but this time lost his temper and scolded him and treated badly, this is how things turned into a dispute.

Meanwhile, Samuel Masih approached CFAM-Pakistan as he had heard from Parkash the CFAM-Pakistan had helped him standing a business.

He met with Mr. Zafar Iqbal, the chairman of CFAM-Pakistan and shared tragic story and current homely circumstances and put a request for the support at this tough time.

He also shared that being heart patient he is unable to work at brick kiln anymore, but he can do some business at small scale.

Now, Samuel Masih is asking for help, so that he could feed his wife and children and to pay back all the debt at his head.

After hearing this whole story, Chairman Mr. Zafar Iqbal offered to support him in establishing a small shop. Sammuel Masih accepted the offer by chairman-CFAM.
